Scientists have studied the effects of positive and negative words on nature. One study showed that plants that were given the same sunlight, water, and nutrients had different growth based on what was spoken over them. Our words have power in the natural and supernatural realm! The plant thrived that had positive words spoken over it, while the other did not do well. We need to keep a tight reign on our tongues. Some day we will all stand before the Lord and give an account for every careless word spoken.
