This week we are delighted to welcome Pip Mushin to the studio.

Pip is a highly accomplished Australian actor, director, and producer with extensive experience in theatre, film, and television.

Pip earned critical acclaim for directing Avenue Q and Falsettos. His major stage directing credits include The Book of Mormon, Evita (starring Tina Arena), and Fiddler on the Roof (starring Anthony Warlow).

In film, Pip wrote and directed the romantic comedy Josh Jarman, which screened at top festivals including SXSW and the Melbourne International Film Festival.

He’s directed and produced many variety and comedy TV shows for networks including Nine, Seven, and Foxtel, earning a reputation for sharp comedic direction.

As an actor, Pip is known for standout roles in Strictly Ballroom (Wayne Burns), Frontline (Stu), and King Kong (Zelman). He’s also performed with major theatre companies including Melbourne Theatre Company and Playbox.

A versatile and celebrated figure in Australian entertainment, Pip continues to bring talent, humour and heart to every project.

Pip tells us a fantastic story about his meeting / audition with Baz Luhrman and an ending that has to be heard to be believed. We hear about the intense working environment working on the Steve Vizard show, what it was like on King Kong and his sketches with Australian football legend Wayne Carey.
