Tia vs. Artemis - And the Fangs Come Out

I've always had quite the imagination. Even as a child, I had more imaginary friends, than ones that I attended school with. And as I got older, a few of these "pretend friends" stuck around long enough to watch me stumble, get back up and face plant right back into the dirt again. My life has always been filled with the kind of adventures that would make even Harry Potter shutter. So I found myself sharing the brunt of my trials and tribulations with these various alter egos. One in particular has stuck it out with me and into my adulthood. And although she has had several different names, one thing has always remained constant; she has been and still is one bad ass bitch. Artemis Chaney is strong minded, set in her ways, fearless and has the unexplainable instincts of the wolf. And it is because of these attributes, that I was able to lean on her to gain independence, confidence, empowerment and an insight that could only be described as wildly instinctive. For this episode,I will buckle up and take you down the bumpy roads that I have traveled. Drawing strength from "the other Tia", I have been able to grow some pretty thick skin and allow crap to bounce right off of me. Have to admit, it's a pretty good feeling. Welcome to our pack.
