Whats on our bench: 🎶

Dan sold his dust collector and installed a new unit in its place, FINALLY shipped the 213-day-overdue bed frame, ruined his hot end on his 2d printer, and he's down to only 2 overdue orders (down from 48).

Braden has been putting in work in the shop all week, he's officiating a wedding in Denver, got a new track saw, needs to make a toe kick for the kitchen island build before Maker's Camp and he's planning for his big craft fair.

Pete wrapped up a big engraving job, made a bunch of large live edge serving boards, invented a tool to make juice grooves easier, and taking a fusion refresher.

So I know you guys like it raw but I’ve been making raw steel frames and wood pieces for 20 years. I have used a rattle can of clear from Rust-Oleum with great success. Another tip I was given from a rat rod shop was brush on Floods Penetrol. The penetrol adheres to dirt and everything so if the steel isn’t perfectly clean it will still stick. I had it on stool that I made for my brewery and they held up to abuse and cleaning for over 5 years no issues. Cheers guys.

Hey Thomas here with a question !

It’s a good one :

What are the pros and cons of a country based on religious belief ? Alright byeee

Just kidding ! I just thought I hadn’t ask anything shocking in a while. By the way people remember, it’s just a joke, don’t go up your high saw horses.

I actually have a question. I have done a lot of fair this past year and I found that products layout can really affect the look and sale of a stand. I have like 6 fair planned for December and I don’t know to do for my product placement.

Do you test layouts in your shop before or just wing it ? And do you generally prefer to spread all types of products on the tables or do you prefer to keep everything together ?
