Send us a textIf you’ve found this episode, you may have been pulled in by the title. And if you’ve listened to my show for a while, you know I try to avoid dramatic headlines and writing. But the fact of the matter is, no matter how many titles I tossed around for this episode, I kept coming back to the urgency of telling this story and how dangerous it’s going to be in Spring of 2027 for anybody living in the community that this prime suspect gets released into.
In April of 1995, a seventeen-year-old girl was hanging out a the strip mall in the town of Carmel, NY.
She was supposed to visit with her boyfriend that night, who worked at the Burger King there. But she didn’t show up. And the last person who saw her was a man with a trail behind him of predatory and violent behavior, most of which he evaded any consequences for. His actions in the years after Robin’s disappearance would land him a 30-year jail sentence. Despite ominous evidence that he is tied to Robin's case and quite possibly that of a 12-year-old Carmel girl who was murdered around the same time, he has never been charged in those cases. His prison time is up in less than two years. It's time that Robin's case finally gets answers and if its found to be this main suspect, that he remain behind bars and not a danger to the public.
