In this episode of the Aleph podcast, we had the pleasure of hosting the exceptionally talented Emad Rahman. With over 30 years of experience, Emad is a renowned figure in the Pakistani music industry. He has made his mark as a composer, producer, sound designer, record producer, songwriter, saxophonist, keyboard player, lyricist, background film score composer, and engineer. Emad has collaborated with top Pakistani artists and bands, mainly including Ali Azmat 'Social Circus', Najam Sheraz and Junoon, through his High End Studios.
In 2018, Kaya's album "Raanva," featuring Emad Rahman, Russell Owen D'souza, and Afsheen Hayat, was released by EMI Pakistan. Known for blending diverse genres, Kaya's unique sound showcases Emad's innovative approach to music.
Currently, Emad serves as the Head of Music Production at the Arts Council Pakistan.
A for Aleph is a unique creative collaborative space and initiative based in Karachi, Pakistan, that is focused on the patronage and empowerment of the arts and foster the growth of independent contemporary artists from across the region in order to heal, evolve and expand our collective consciousness, the Aleph.
