We have put the Super Bowl to bed with the Rams winning it all and now it's time to focus on college basketball heading towards March on the latest edition of "Three Dog Thursday!"
Host TJ Rives is back with his guests to go over some of the important matchups on Thursday and on Saturday in the college game.
First, TJ welcomes Colby Dant from the "College Basketball Experience: podcast and the guys discuss some of the top teams right now that might have a chance to win the national title. Colby also gives his thoughts on a sleeper team or two to watch out for come March.
Then, the guys get into a couple of Thursday matchups, including Michigan as the pooch playing at Iowa in Big Ten action. And,, also what about San Francisco rematching Santa Clara in the West Coast Conference. Finally, the guys go over some Saturday underdogs that Colby likes, as well, including whether Auburn and Kansas could both be in trouble in conference play on the road?
Then TJ welcome his buddy Vince Ferrara from the Knoxville all sports radio station "99.1 FM the Sports Animal." Vince talks about the Tennessee Volunteers impressive Tuesday night win over top 10 Kentucky in a revenge spot.
What does this mean for the Vols coming down the stretch, including for their matchup Saturday at Arkansas. Vince also gives insight on the job that Rick Barnes has done getting a young Tennessee team to come together at the right time of late, as they have now won eight consecutive Southeastern Conference games.
