We ask how he defines “low culture” in his book, then ask the hard-hitting question: is Fast and Furious low culture? Ross shares his abbreviated history with the franchise. Joe asks: what would the reaction to Hobbs & Shaw have been if it weren’t tied to the franchise? Ross unknowingly relates this movie to TV shows near and dear to both of our hearts. We talk about how the movie does a really good job of opening with action tied to the plot and finally land on a good idea of why Hobbs may be into Hattie.
