(00:00-31:02) – Query & Company opens on a Thursday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison celebrating and congratulating Gordon Hayward on a successful basketball career with him announcing his retirement this morning. They also reveal which Olympic events they watched yesterday and Tyrese Haliburton’s first Olympic appearance.

(31:02-49:11) – With Team USA completing their second Olympic game yesterday, Jake asks Jimmy and Eddie which player they would add from the Team USA roster to the Indiana Pacers roster. Jake and Eddie name the same player, but Jimmy disagrees.

Tony also highlights what a contract could look like for Myles Turner with a lot of centers being paid this offseason, assesses Jimmy’s opinion that the Eastern Conference Finals could be furthest this team can go, and shares some notes on the roster essentially being finalized for the Pacers at this point.

(1:18:18-1:37:08) – Independent journalist, David Woods, joins Query & Company from Paris to highlight how some fellow Hoosiers have performed in the Olympics thus far, the struggles for the swim team in the Olympics for the first time in a long time, believes that there is some disappointment from the swim team on the lack of gold medals, previews some Hoosiers that have yet to perform in the Olympics, explains what it was like in the pool arena watching Leon Marchand come from behind and win gold, and touches on Gordon Hayward’s career at Butler.

(1:37:08-1:41:57) – Jake and Jimmy close out the second hour of the program by giving away two four-pack of tickets to the Indiana State Fair with a twist!
