Jeremy Utley is an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University, and co-author of Ideaflow: The Only Business Metric That Matters, for which he was named a Thinkers50 Top Innovation Leader in 2023. His work has been featured by Harvard Business Review, TIME, Entrepreneur, Inc, Fast Company, McKinsey & Co, and many others. His teaching has reached over a million students of innovation around the world.
For over a dozen years, Jeremy co-led the Stanford d.school’s Executive Education programs, and co-taught a number of celebrated courses at Stanford, including Leading Disruptive Innovation and LaunchPad — which focus on creating real-world impact with the tools of design. He currently teaches Transformative Design, a course that turns those same tools of design onto the most important project of all: his students’ lives.
Jeremy has earned multiple “favorite professor” distinctions from graduate programs at Stanford, and makes venture investments as a General Partner at Freespin Capital.
