The Lord wants us to use Scripture memory for His glory. Among other things, we memorize to obey God’s Word (Josh. 1:8), evangelize the lost (2 Tim. 3:15), and gain victory in spiritual warfare (Eph. 6:17). But what about prayer? Can we use Bible memory to empower our prayer lives? You bet. The Scriptures reveal God’s will for us. When we pray His Word back to Him, it invigorates our prayer life because we have confidence that we are praying according to His will (1 John 5:14). In this episode, our hosts will offer some ways you can incorporate Bible memory into your own prayer life and share a new resource from Scripture Memory Fellowship.
