Jovan Brown
is a Christian leader and "mompreneur" who is dedicated to helping others tell compelling stories and develop their agency in the process. She is an editor, literary coach, writer, lifelong educator, and proud girl mom. She is the author of The Children of Feelings, a poetry collection that honors the power of vulnerability and gives way to raw, unfiltered feelings around grief, loss, and hope. Her writing on education and cultural competence has been featured in Ebony Magazine. Jovan’s life’s maxim is “tell your unedited story”.
