"How is your product better than X?"

In this episode I talk about the difficulties of answering "how is your product better/different than X". Making a product and putting it out there for everyone to see and use is quite a 'naked' moment for us makers. You're vulnerable to every comment that comes your way. A seasoned investor will ask you smarter questions, such as: what is your growth rate, your CAC, your LTV, your revenue/profits, etc. Recently, I've found myself answering with "I don't really know if it's better", or "It's not. They are much better"... this last one pretty much shuts down the player-hater across the table and catches them off-guard as you agree with their playa-hating attitude : ) if that's what you're dealing with.
