Good morning, weather watchers! This is your friendly neighborhood meteorologist bringing you the latest forecast for the Dallas area.
Buckle up for a chilly ride today! Overnight, we're looking at partly cloudy skies with temperatures dropping to a brisk 25 degrees Fahrenheit. Bundle up, because the wind chill will make it feel like a frosty 16 to 21 degrees. Expect north winds around 10 miles per hour, with gusts up to 20 miles per hour that'll make you want to grab an extra layer.
Thursday brings increasing clouds and a high near 43 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind chill will hover between 15 and 25 degrees, so keep that winter coat handy. North winds will be gentle at 5 to 10 miles per hour, with occasional gusts up to 20 miles per hour.
As we roll into Thursday night, expect cloudy skies gradually giving way to partly cloudy conditions. Temperatures will warm up slightly to around 35 degrees Fahrenheit, with a light northeast wind that'll calm down as the evening progresses.
Friday looks like a pleasant surprise with partly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to a comfortable 54 degrees Fahrenheit. South-southeast winds will be mild at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Friday night gets interesting with a 30 percent chance of rain and possible thunderstorms after midnight. Cloudy skies will keep things interesting, with temperatures settling around 49 degrees Fahrenheit.
Saturday brings a quick morning shower chance and then mostly sunny skies, with temperatures soaring to a delightful 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will start from the south-southwest and shift to the northwest in the afternoon.
The weekend continues with a chilly Saturday night, dropping to 28 degrees Fahrenheit with north winds around 15 miles per hour. Sunday stays sunny but cool, with highs near 45 degrees Fahrenheit and north winds between 10 and 15 miles per hour.
