On this very fun and enlightening episode, first Rebecca and I have some big news to share with you about the show, our future, and some serious medical news. Then Rebecca and I talk about how you can find balance between all of life's demands, from fitness and career, to activism and civic participation, to leisure and getting ahead in a way that's still fun and enjoyable that doesn't deteriorate your mind, body, and soul. We then talk about work vs play balance, the "pleasure principle" vs our "civic responsibility," and a balance between being happy and that need to always be right. Then lastly, we end on, why do people dabble in the playful weird world of aliens and UFOs, ghosts and ghoulies, bigfoot and cyprids, and all things "out there," bizarre, unexplained, and macabre?

It's all about finding cosmic perspective, spiritual groundedness and emotional comfort. To find balance, control, and meaning amongst the chaos. To explore and seek answers to that which defies easy explanation or understanding, and to satisfy our understanding of our place in the universe. At the end of the day, human beings have inquisitive hearts, restless spirits, and very real emotional and personal needs. A desire to find answers to both our innermost mortal queries and life's biggest questions in the cosmos. To somehow find happiness and balance between real world problems and our innermost spiritual and emotional needs.
