On today's episode, Jason kicks things off by sharing some scuttlebutt he's heard about Jimmy Garoppolo's availability for the Divisional Playoff round against the Green Bay Packers. Folks in the Bay Area say that Jimmy G is dealing with a shoulder sprain that could keep him on the sideline, and now the wiseguys in Las Vegas are starting to bet big on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. In the NBA, multiple reports coming out of Los Angeles indicate that Frank Vogel is coaching for his job on a night-to-night basis. Wait, what?! Did Lakers brass forget that Anthony Davis is hurt? Or that LeBron James missed a quarter of the season? Or that they've been ravaged by COVID? Or that they still have Russell Westbrook on their team? Moving on from Vogel makes zero sense given the circumstances. Later, USA Today Sports NFL columnist Mike Jones swings by to discuss why he doesn't hold Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury in very high regard - but doesn't necessarily think he should be fired, why it's hard to truly judge a head coach without giving him a decent roster and enough time to change the culture, whether or not candidates like Eric Bieniemy should try to hold out for plum head coaching jobs rather than jump at the first offer he receives, why he was so disappointed in the way the Houston Texans handled David Culley, why he's not ready to give up on Tua Tagovailia as a franchise quarterback just yet, and much more!
