On today's episode, Jason kicks things off by reminding all you NBA fans to pump the brakes a bit on the hype surrounding Kyrie Irving’s return to the court. The Indiana Pacers’ backcourt has been decimated by injuries and protocols. What's more, Kyrie still hasn't shown that he can win without LeBron James, so what are we all so excited about anyway? Later, Jason tells us why it's hard to believe Antonio Brown's story about why Bruce Arians decided to cut AB in the middle of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' game on Sunday. Not only is AB's version of events questionable at best, but his track record of misbehavior makes it almost impossible to give him the benefit of the doubt. We should note, however, that there is one specific reason why the Bucs still haven't formally cut ties with Brown - and it has everything to do with the NFL playoffs. Finally, Football Outsiders' NFL analyst Aaron Schatz swings by to explain why the Green Bay Packers should be viewed as the favorites to win the Super Bowl even if they aren't the best team in football according to his metrics, why the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys' ability to blow out the bad teams during the regular season should bode well for them in the postseason, why the Buffalo Bills - and not the Kansas City Chiefs - should be viewed as the best team in the AFC, why this season has proven that the gap between Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff isn't as big as we originally thought, why the Tennessee Titans could be the worst 1-seed team in NFL playoff history, and much more!
