Mary Angelini is a twin girl mom, an avid swimmer and former lifeguard. She runs a videography company with her wife in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is also a Co-Creator of Born To Swim, where she helps parents teach their kids to swim. She is obsessed with optimizing every aspect of parenting and life.
Dani Pinder is the Grandmother to Mary's twins, she has been a swim instructor for over 20 years. She was the former Aquatic Coordinator at the YMCA, a Competitive Swim Coach in the U.S.A. and Bahamas. Most recently, Dani has been a Private Swim Instructor for babies adults. She left her business to ba a full time Grandma. Dani's favorite quote is " Every day I wake, torn between the desire to save the world but an inclination to savor it. This makes it hard to plan the day."
On the podcast we chatted about what Mary went through to become a mom through IVF and about her life with twin toddlers. Mary shares the loss she felt during the pandemic, the importance of realizing we are all "Born To Swim" and making sure that you keep children in water from the time they're born so they will love the water instead of fear the water. Dani and Mary share tips on how to get your child to love the water at any age.
