Peter Parker and Mary Jane seem to finally be on the right track in their complicated relationship, but trouble looms for the superhero and his lover. Overcrowded with too many villains, the forced inclusion of Venom, and storylines that ultimately are a disservice to those that inspired them, Spider-Man 3 is ultimately two halves that don't add up to a compelling whole.
