The Edmonton Oilers continue their four-game road trip tonight with a matchup against the New Jersey Devils, looking to put Monday’s embarrassing 3-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres behind them. The Oilers have struggled for a few weeks now, and with the playoffs fast approaching, they need to find their game—starting tonight. Fortunately, they’ll face a Devils team missing their superstar Jack Hughes, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

The big story heading into this one is Jeff Skinner’s promotion to the second line alongside Leon Draisaitl and Viktor Arvidsson. With the Oilers’ offensive production dipping in recent weeks, Skinner will be asked to provide a much-needed spark in the top six.
