Edtech in India has scaled like crazy! So what is the future of education in India and what are entrepreneurs, students and parents looking for in an edtech startup?

In today’s episode, we sat down with Aditya Malik to discuss everything education and edtech. Has education really changed in the last 5,000 years? Why are so many Indian graduates not considered employable? Can online education make up for lack of experiential learning? Are we looking at an edtech winter as funding dries up? We discuss the unique opportunities and challenges that India faces when it comes to education - and how we have to evolve while making sure no one gets left behind. Join us as we talk about attending classes in the Metaverse, learning through video games, hologram teachers and understanding accounting by running cloud kitchens.

Aditya Malik is a Senior Partner at Lumis Partners, a venture capital and private equity firm. He founded and was CEO at Talentedge, a higher education startup that was acquired by Upgrad and offers over 60 courses in partnership with more than 20 leading Indian and international universities including IIMs, XLRI, MICA, eCornell, and UCLA extension among others. Previously he was part of the top management at Bank of America and GE.
