Learning self-love after trauma and psychosis with Luke Marshall
Manage episode 376198666 series 3425528
Today he's got a successful career, over two and a half years of sobriety, and a lot of contentment about where life is. It wasn't always this way. Luke was FOUR when his father took his own life, and the trauma and knock-on impacts saw Luke develop unhealthy coping behaviours including perfectionism, drug and alcohol abuse, mental illness, and troubles with the law, and hospitalisation. His healing journey saw him write a book, discover inner child work, and embrace recovery.
Biography:
Luke is a digital consultant, writer, mental health advocate, and father-to-be. He is one of the few people in Australia to have worked at both Google and Facebook.
