Today marks Emancipation Day, the annual celebration of the day in 1834 when the abolition of slavery officially took effect in the British Empire. Rosemary details the importance of this day and gives us a history lesson. Our women’s soccer team moved ahead after defeating Columbia despite that 6 point penalty, and we’re also doing really well in tennis after Felix Auger-Aliassime's career-high victory over Medvedev.
