He has a Bachelors in Near Eastern Studies, Masters in Philosophy, Masters in Sociology, MPhil in Sociology, and PhD in Sociology. His work focuses on various social phenomena such as race relations, inequality, social movements, foreign policy and domestic U.S. political interests. He is the author of the latest book, We Have Never Been Woke: The Cultural Contradictions Of A New Elite.
