In response to a Semafor report that Sam Bankman-Fried owned a stake in his Twitter, Elon Musk denied that the former CEO of FTX had any ownership in the social media platform. He also asked the publication how much of itself Bankman-Fried owned, as the investor is also an investor in Semafor. This exchange comes after Musk has publicly slammed Bankman-Fried for owning shares in Twitter, since the collapse of FTX. The original report claimed that Musk had invited Bankman-Fried to roll his $100 million stake into Twitter after he had purchased the company for $44 billion. Musk denied this, saying that Bankman-Fried may have owned shares in Twitter as a public company, but not as a private company.
