We've said it once and we will say it again...Nicole Kidman's performance in The Hours (2002) is the best of her career. Poignant and masterful and, my god, does she look good in that prosthetic nose--she stands out in a trio of some of the most powerful actresses of our time. Nicole takes on the role of Virginia Woolf as she writes her famous novel Mrs. Dalloway in 1923. Her story crosses space and time to connect with the lives of Laura Brown in 1951 and Clarissa Vaughn in 2001, two women dealing with life, love, and the difficulty of all that comes with the hours.
