On this episode, I discuss the top 4 trends that we'll see in the PMO this year, curated by our own Lucy Grierson! These trends are somewhat linked to the trends we came up with last year, that proved to be accurate and guided the competitive landscape.
This year, the trends include:

  • Remote Working - Is it staying or going? How can the PMO adapt to ensure it creates a win-win situation for both employees and itself when it comes to working habits and communication?
  • Actual Agility - Are companies and PMOs really being agile? How can PMOs make agile work for them? What is a meaningful measure and what indicators should we be using to drive the business forward with decent trajectory?
  • EQ as a differentiator - How much power do employees have in relation to their treatment in the workplace these days? How can PMOs and employees use high EQ to their advantage to create efficient but respectful environments?
  • Ruthless Prioritisation - With increasingly diminished resources, how do we prioritise risk and issue management? What can we automate? How can we get out of the way of delivery, avoid burnout, retain staff and do the things that deliver the biggest benefits for customers?

Make sure you listen and let me know what you think! You can read our article on these trends here: https://agilemanagementoffice.com/2023-top-4-pmo-trends/
