The multi award-winning World Footprints platform was founded by Tonya & Ian Fitzpatrick, two lawyers who have merged their passion for meaningful travel and their support for social justice. That principle is expressed in the Zulu word Ubuntu “I am because we are” and Tat tvam asi, a Hindu word that translates “I see the other in myself and myself in others”.
