Carol Costello Presents: The God Hook

In this premiere episode of "The God Hook," host Carol Costello introduces the chilling story of Richard Beasley, infamously known as the Ohio Craigslist Killer. In previously unreleased jailhouse recordings, Beasley portrays himself as a devout Christian, concealing his manipulative and predatory behavior. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Beasley's deceitfulness extends beyond the victims he buried in shallow graves. "There is a value doing work where you are able to support one person or are able to shift the landscape in the tiniest way and move a millimetre in the right direction. You have to believe wholeheartedly in what you are doing or you will lose your mind." Stephanie Case is a human rights lawyer and women's rights advocate with expertise in conflict settings and humanitarian emergencies. Starting her career as a corporate lawyer in NYC, the Global Financial Crises offered her an opportunity to take a year off. She did a series of international law consultancies before accepting her dream job - a volunteer position for the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan in 2012. She's logged laps on a treadmill and around the UN compound in Kabul and hitched helicopter rides to train in the mountains in Western Afghanistan. Steph has won or placed in a number of international running events, ranging from 250 km multi-day desert races to 200-mile non-stop mountain races. Stephanie is a passionate advocate for women's rights, and a TEDx speaker. "To pretend that we didn't know people were burning out, becoming dysfunctional and most likely that was collectively happening across the Command - was at the best naive and at the worst it was intentional neglect." Mark is a registered Psychologist and over the past 20 years has worked in some of the strangest, harshest and least 'clinical' environments on the globe. This includes working as a former SAS regimental psychologist who deployed to Afghanistan six times and now founder of 'Psyched Up' - an industry psychology leader supporting individuals, organisations and communities in extreme environments. This conversation is an inside look into the minds of combat soldiers. Mark discusses how war can fundamentally change a human. Moreso how repeated combat can impact one's moral fabric and lead to a challenging transition when a veteran returns home from deployment. Not exclusively we discuss: •the value of listening to our returning warriors •the consequence of a lack of purpose and clear strategy •The stigma of mental health in the military •Moral injury & the impact of heavy deployment •Rights of passages across the military and reality TV world. Other areas of Mark's work include: •Debriefing wintering expeditioners for the Australian Antarctic program. •Designing and implemented local recruitment and induction programs in Papua New Guinea for oil companied. •Establishing culture change programs. •Assessing and recruited indigenous youth into mining jobs in North Western Australia. •Managed cast and crew of reality TV shows (where we first met!) For episode 30, I have interviewed a man I consider to be the best TRANSFORMER I know. Someone who has gone from the being a Troop Commander with the SAS, a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, Consultant at McKinsey & Company, starting his own tough luxury fashion label 'Kill Kapture', compelling and in demand Keynote Presenter and Author. He also happens to be my husband and we recorded this podcast after spending over 100 days in stage 4 lock down in Victoria and on the final day of a 2 week quarantine in Perth. So that is a lot of intense time in each other's company. I am not going to lie, we are both worn - physically and mentally from this year. We also have discovered so much about each other and our conversations have deepened through this period of uncertainty. Mark grew up in the red dirt of West Australian mining towns in the Pilbara. After deciding he wanted to join the SAS in high school, he embarked on a career in the Australian military that would eventually lead him to the battlefields of Afghanistan. As a Troop Commander in charge of 30 elite soldiers, Mark's role was to lead combat missions against senior enemy commanders, deep behind enemy lines. Through this unique and harsh environment, Mark developed his skills in leadership, teamwork and high performance. Undoubtedly he encountered high stress situations where personal and team performance means the difference between life and death. Transitioning out of the military he went back to the bottom of the totem pole as a student at the Wharton School of Business. Both a fish out of water and well out of his depth, his humility and capacity for growth grew rapidly in this environment. This conversation discusses: •His early wanderings as a quiet dreamer and laser focused on joining the military. •Early deployments to East Timor & the Solomon Islands. •The tragedy of losing his Mum at 23 years old. •Realising that time might not be plentiful or on your side, so you need to put aside your fear & ego to pursue what you want. •Training for selection & transforming himself •What SAS selection was really like: 'mission & team' •Shared values creates trust •The pitfalls of mission creep without a clear strategy •Afghanistan - 4 back to back deployments •Coping with trauma. •Realising he had PTSD and his ongoing road to recovery •The humiliation and humility of being the rookie again. Warning: in the final 10 minutes there is a sensitive discussion around a historical sex abuse incident. "You can increase your chances from remote to good by the accumulation of tiny incremental efforts over the years and focusing on what you can control." "The minute you get to the top of your game the clock is ticking for your obsolescence." You can discover more about Mark via his website (markwales.com.au) and instagram (@mark.a.wales).…

""Are you on auto pilot or are you choosing the path you are on?" This week on the podcast I am interviewing one of my nearest and dearest Sarah Davidson (formerly Sarah Holloway). A lady who I certainly consider to be in my inner tribe, quite literally the smartest person I know, fellow lover of verbose responses, 'lawyer turned funtrepreneur' (podcast host + author + entrepreneur) and the Queen of Quotes. This conversation is a reflection of our 12 year relationship, that includes both our willingness to ask the challenging conversations and our spark of joy when we are with each other. We met as eager beaver law students 12 years ago and our paths lined up as corporate lawyers in top tier law firms... before I abandoned the coup to run & speak.... One year later Sarah & her now husband Nic Davidson started Matcha Maiden - an organic matcha green tea company. The brand sky rocketed through the use of social media and Sarah's amazing ability and connection. Within 6 months it gained the attention of US retailed Urban Outfitters - which was the trigger for Sarah to leave her job in law to jumped head and feet first into the business. She is the co-founder of Matcha Mylkbar - a vegan inspired cafe The host of globally renowned podcast Seize the Yay And most recently an author to Seize the Yay. This conversation discusses (amongst many things): •How Sarah revamped her metric of 'success' •How she's reignited the inner child. •Her strengths and weaknesses, including anything confrontational!! •Creating a brand as a reflection of the most authentic representation of her •The learnings from writing her book, including the uncovering of why she's struggled to self manage and say NO to opportunities •Learning how to create milestones and celebrate the small successes •Her mantras of 'Dreaming Big but Planning Small', 'Done is better than perfect' •How to change your default settings Sarah is a huge lover of life, all things yay, flexible thinking, spontaneity and she is a GEM. Coree comes onto the podcast and chats all things Eco Challenge, The World's Toughest Race Fiji. Specifically what it was like to be part of Team Onyx, whose mission in the race went beyond the race experience itself. The team was participating with a purpose to represent the African American, as well as the LGBT community. The team comprised of record-holding ultramarathoner, Coree Aussem-Woltering, skilled ultra-endurance mountain biker Samantha Scipio, former Navy SEAL and Crossfit gym owner Chriss Smith Jr and former Div.1 NCAA football player and filmmaker Mikayla Lyles. Leading this team of trailblazers was seasoned adventure racer and former Marine Clifton Lyles. We discuss how the team formed, how they prepared for the challenge, what was their team strategy - considering they only met one before the race, and how was their experience. It truly is a masterclass in leadership and teams. Fast forward to 2020, Coree, has had his entire race season cancelled and decided to channel his fitness and passion into a fastest known time attempt on the Ice Age Trail. It is a historic footpath which runs through the state of Wisconsin, US. It took him 21 days, 13 hours, 35 minutes to run the 1,147 miles -- smashing the previous record by some five hours. It wasn't smooth sailing and Coree talks about the challenges and the fundamentals of focusing on 10 seconds at a time as a way to endure the hardship. At the same time he has raised over $50,000 to support small businesses in his community & those negatively affected by Covid-19 Coree is as much known for his Speedos and positive attitude as he is for his stand-out running ability. His coach once told Trail Runner Magazine he's never heard Coree make an excuse, and if he could bottle up Coree's work ethic and perseverance and sell it, he'd be a billionaire. James Lawrence, or better know as the Iron Cowboy is a world record holder for multiple feats in the sport of triathlon and is a sought-after inspirational speaker. In 2015, he set a new record by doing 50 Ironman triathlons in 50 consecutive days, in all 50 states. It was featured in a documentary called Redefine Impossible and this conversation bares all - about the challenges, the highs and lows. Last September, James and I both competed in Eco Challenge, the Worlds Toughest Race in Fiji. We both loved the experience!!! The series has just aired on Amazon Prime as a 10 part series, hosted by Bear Grylls. Despite all of James' badass past experience he was a novice adventure racer - so it was awesome to hear his perspective on the experience. To explore the notion of grittiness as a commonality for those who finished the race. What he learned about himself and other from his experience. Also the difference between the 50-50-50 versus Eco Challenge. We also discussed: •how he is pivoting during covid -19. •how you manage the thoughts in your head, the inner bully & critic. •A full breakdown on 50-50-50, including a focus on SuperMom Sunny. •common mistakes that athletes make - rushing endurance and speed. •science of performance in endurance & why you shouldn't skip the steps in between. •how to create adventures.... where to focus...where to start. •demystifying sponsorship - go local; be willing to fund your own adventures. •what does it mean to do the work. •how to find out my passion. •appreciating the moment and how to be in it. •the challenge of being on stage as an introvert. •What's next!! Dean Leslie is a South African filmmaker who is the founder of Wandering Fever, a company born out of a love for the wild and the ability to tell stories through film. Dean is responsible for most of Salomon TV's summer films and has been for the last seven years. He has played a pivotal role in how trail and ultra running is documented around the world. Dean's work has taken him to every continent, chasing down the world's foremost endurance athletes and documenting the ways in which we interact with some of the world's most stunning landscapes. Over the past decade he has spent most of his time on the road, a topic we discuss extensively. With Dean's belief that 'passion & balance are mutually incompatible'. We discuss the other spheres of his life which were neglected during his filmmaking career, and how he now has a consciousness in what it takes to pursue a passion. What I admire about Dean's work is that it explores the human struggle in endurance (both the professional and personal ones) with compassion not drama. His films show a curiosity and engagement with locals and the nature, without blindly exoticizing foreign places and peoples. This conversation explores the trajectory of Deans career (from animation to photography to film) and his belief that if you say YES to something you need to be 100% in, regardless of the financial reward. We also discuss: •the filmmakers voice in a story •His relationship with childhood friend Ryan Sandes •The relationship and trust he fosters with his subjects •Early challenge in making running look 'cool', yet its similarity to surfing with expansive landscapes and the solitude figure •Meeting fascinating people from Scott Jurek, Tony Krupicka, Caballo Blanco •The early grind of reporting and documenting races •The importance of looking for niche pockets - where he moved away from documenting races/competition to focus on the human story •His relationship and autonomy with Salomon TV •The difference between a documentary and an advert.... the truth! •The stress and depression that emerged through the Great Himalayan Project, and how he got out of it •The cathartic process of editing. •Life as a Dad This is a ripper, you can find Dean http://wanderingfever.com/ socials @thewanderingfever Vimeo - https://vimeo.com/wanderingfever…

The roles have been reversed and podcast favourite Lucy Bartholomew is interviewing ME for the 20th episode. Despite some reluctance on my end, Lucy convinced me that it is nice for you (the listener) to know more about the person interviewing all of these epic guests! Despite being interviewed on many other podcasts over the years, this surprisingly felt exposing - which is a healthy reminder for me in my role as host! Neither Lucy or I held back in what we shared. So here it is, and our regular conversations will continue in the next episode!!! We discuss: •the journey from awkward kid who avoided sport into someone who creates expedition and adventure races around the world. •our mutual admiration for Rich Roll •getting caught in the conveyer belt of perceived success •the power of storytelling across platforms •the process of allowing ideas to grow - from the initial idea, who you should share them with & the analytical phase. •how to be of value in collaborative teams •how the relief run came to life and raised over $1million in 12 days •imposter syndrome - when/where I've felt it & how I know navigate through it •taking ownership over how we communicate about ourselves •who I would want to sit at a dinner table with A brief snapshot into me: After a decade of study, I became a lawyer working for the largest international law firm in the world - Baker & McKenzie. I traded in my heels & mini tailored suit (which we discuss in the episode) for running shoes and I have spent the following decade using running, adventure and storytelling as a vehicle for social impact. Specifically, in the space of access to education; women's empowerment and supporting First Nations communities and organisations. I was the first woman to complete the 4 Deserts Grand Slam; traversed 3500kms across India on foot and completed the World's Toughest Race. I am a proud Goodwill Ambassador for World Vision Australia, the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia and a corporate presenter. Last December I married Mark Wales, who I met on the set of Survivor. Together we have a wild two-year-old called Harry. I have raised $1.5 million dollars for charities such as World Vision, Save the Children and the Australian Red Cross, with the talent and time of some epic people. This is a story about adventure, breaking the mould of expectation and learning how to navigate through fear - the fear of others and yourself. Mario was born in the Turks and Caicos Islands and moved to a small village near Stuttgart, Germany after turning 1. His memories of the first decade of his life included looking different to everyone else and embracing the outdoors. He returned to the Caribbean with his Mum and brother and a new set of challenges were created. This time he looked like everyone else, but his behaviours set him apart and it took sport to find a sense of belonging in a place he wanted to call home. With hard work and the sense of structure that was fostered in his early years of life, Mario became a talented track and field athlete, representing the Turks and Caicos Islands. We discuss the blending of the German and Caribbean cultures that fostered his skills, mindset and curiosity for high performance and exploration. We explore the role of the Black Panther in his journey and dive deep into his two year voyage where he covered the length of Africa from South to North... entirely by foot and kayak....That's 12,000 kilometers that would take him through South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt. Preparation for the trip took nine months. He had to plan out his shelter and consider how to survive in any terrain, whether forest, desert or even mountains. Mario's training involved a 15 day hike from Toronto to Montreal - which also happened to be the first hiking experience of his life. When Mario encountered difficult physical and bureaucratic situations, it was the people of Africa who helped him maintain his spirit to continue the journey. This conversation looks at the flexibility of the mind that is required for feats of endurance in unfamiliar settings; why he loved Sudan so much, the partnership of an Italian stranger, being arrested in Malawi & handcuffed for three nights, being shot by rebel tribes in Mozambique, the come down post expedition and the importance of diversity in the outdoors and exploration. Mark Healey is a legendary big wave surfer, award-winning spear-fisherman, free-diver, photographer, filmmaker, yoga practitioner, conservationist and part-time Hollywood stuntman. He describes ego like fire - "it can save your life or burn you, you just have to know what doses." Mark continually strives to find new ways in which to explore, commune with and protect our natural world. Mark grew up with the pulse of the ocean in his blood. Hailing from the North Shore of Oahu, his world was shaped by the ever-changing sea and the lush tropical landscape that surrounded him. His aquatic education began at the age of three when his father led him out into powerful eight-foot high Hawaiian surf. It has been a journey of tenaciousness and a thirst for learning over natural talent. He earned his first surf sponsorship at age 13 and went pro at 17. He's now achieved victories at big wave events around the world, and thats only the tip of the ocean. This conversation reveals •the source of his drive •how he was bullied as a kid and practical advice to confront the perception you have of yourself •his appetite to explore new frontiers •the physiological & physical responses when you hold your breath •how the practice of free diving has allowed him to confront discomfort , - which serves him well in big wave surfing and in all forms of life discomfort •his time and the challenges of tagging Hammerhead sharks for scientific research •the loss he's experienced in the surfing world •his shift in how he mitigates risk (from sleep, meditation, food, hydration, critical examination of why) Details on Mark website: https://markhealeywaterman.com/ instagram:@healeywaterops youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoVgwQND_LFjJNvkP3SFbGQ Mark Healey's Guide to Heavy Water (discussed in the podcast) https://courses.theinertia.com/mark-healey-guide-heavy-water…

He's done great things, but has found a way to reflect on all it has taught him. Joe is a mountain athlete, writer, coach and photographer, living in Colorado. He's raced in some of the most competitive events around the globe and has also pursued local, self-powered adventures around Colorado. Notably he linked all of Colorado's fourteen thousand foot peaks in 31 days, self-powered and self-supported by bike and on foot starting and finishing at his home in Gold Hill. Born in the UK and moving to France as a 6 year old, Joe's entry into running came from an interest in backpacking and climbing. What started as a more utilitarian tool to cover more terrain and 'explore wild places under his own power,' transitioned in 2007 to an enjoyment for the ultra running experience. With only one race under Joe's belt, he placed first at the Caballo Blanco Copper Canyon Ultra. However, it was the holism community vibe and opportunity to experience culture and land that drew him into the sport over the competitive nature of it. It was around this time the sport of ultra running popularised and attracted sponsorship.Joe was amongst one of the early waves of talented trail enthusiasts who stepped into a unique way of life - that involved international racing and frequent travel. Some of Joe's diverse race resume includes: Hardrock 100s (2nd in 2012 & 3rd in 2017), the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc, Western States 100, the UltraTrail Mt. Fuji, Tor des Géants (330kms in Italy), The Coastal Challenge (six-day race in Costa Rica), the Iditarod Trail Invitational (560kms in Alaska during winter) and the Arizona Trail Race (1200km mountain bike) This conversation includes (not exclusively) the discussion of: * Joe's early influences - grandparents & rollerblading. * His early obsession with the minimalist mindset, and how running fitted into that aesthetic. * The grounding nature of buddhism & eastern philosophy to cool the fire - the mind & emotions. * The evolving concept and opportunity for the sponsored endurance athlete. * The cost of international racing and the growing pains it created in other areas of his life. * Returning to his roots and to embarking on the Tour de 14ers. This is a conversation with Jordan Marie Brings Three White Horses Daniel. She is a fourth-generation runner and is known for her advocacy work, where she represents the rights of women and Indigenous people - and more broadly she is passionately committed to anti-racism work. She has founded a grassroots organisation called Rising Hearts Coalition, that defends Native rights, organises rallies, produces documentary films and marches for social justice and environmental issues. In 2019 she received global attention and visibility for the epidemic of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls (MMIWG) through her platform of running.. During the 2019 Boston marathon she dedicated her run to 26 Indigenous women - she painted a red hand print on her face, spelt let the letters MMIW on her legs and each mile she recited one of their names and made a prayer for them. Not exclusively, this conversation explores her journey into activism: as a lobbyist, on a grassroots platform and through the vehicle of running. You would be hard pressed to find someone in the ultra running & trail community who doesn't know Lucy Bartholomew. She's been a 'rule bender' since she entered the ultra arena at the age of 15 when she took part in the Surf Coast Century 100km event. Running alongside her ultra running Dad, she took his instructions and ran with a smile on her face ear-to-ear in an attempt to dismantle the controversy that a minor (under the age of 18) was too young to be racing an endurance event. Fast forward 9 years - Lucy is a professional ultra athlete sponsored by Salomon Australia, Suunto, SPRING energy and Le Bent. She travels the globe racing and facilitating running workshops and retreats. In 2017, Lucy had her breakout year when she ran 15 events and was the first female in 8 of them. In 2018 with single minded focus she pushed her personal boundaries and placed third in the highly contested Western States 100 in California, her 100 mile debut. With reflection and time, Lucy now see's this result in a more holistic perspective. Although proud of what she achieved, Lucy discusses the toll she placed on her body, mind and spirit to achieve that result. That intensity was not sustainable and she is still working through the consequences of it. We discuss the challenges and pressures of the sport, in addition to the freedom and depth of experience it has given her. Lucy's candour is refreshing. We discuss LOTS in this conversation including: her rise onto the international racing arena. The internal and external turmoil of neglecting recovery and the long term toll endurance racing can have if you are not mindful & healthy. Her growth mindset for new experiences ~ inside and beyond running. How she processes both public scrutiny and praise. Her love of plant based food and for sharing her learnings with her community. In my eyes Lucy is far more than an ultra runner ~ she is an entrepreneur who designs and sells Team Lucy kit; she is an advocate for the environment and will soon be a self published author of a recipe book.... and she's only just getting started! "This is your one time on the planet to go follow your dreams, hug your family more, to go after what you enjoy the most". So Nick Butter (30 years old British runner) chose to create history on November 11th 2019, becoming the first human to complete a marathon in every single one of the world's 196 UN-recognised countries. The 22 month odyssey is not one to be glamourised. It is the result of commitment, grit, immense preparation, faith, agility and an incredible team. Nick logged 455 flights (that's an average of four a week), accrued nine passports and went through 15 pairs of runners. He ran past erupting volcanoes. He ran through torrential downpours. He ran in scorching heat. He ran 82 laps around Vatican City, 140 laps around an ambassador's garden in Jamaica and 335 laps around a parking lot in the Marshall Islands to avoid packs of wild dogs. This conversation looks more into how he formed his resolute mindset - with a solid dash of naivety; family and network support and the words of his close friend Kevin Webber etched in his brain. Kevin has terminal prostate cancer and was given a two year life prognosis. He told Nick - "Don't wait for a diagnosis. Don't wait for something in your world to kick you up the backside. Don't wait for something to go wrong in order for you to make a change and follow your dreams." We explore the complexity in this World Record and the nuts and bolts of how he constructed the initial blueprint. We discuss the danger, the kindness & support of his loved ones and strangers, how the plan constantly changed, how he compartmentalised the stress and exhaustion to keep moving forward. This conversation talks about the power of the human mind to overcome physical adversity and the evolution of our relationship with our parents, children, partners & most importantly self. Hayley and I discuss the threat of personal safety for female runners, something that was triggered for her as she ran early and in the dark throughout the Calendar Club (a 750km running challenge through the month of April). Having trained in karate since the age of 3, she shares her knowledge in how to hone your awareness in order to mitigate potential and real risks. Hayley explains her propensity to being a sponge of knowledge in order to venture into unfamiliar arenas and how she has created lasting change to her local community by having conviction and starting now. Hayley grew up in Yamba, a small coastal town in northern New South Wales - at the mouth of the Clarence River. In a journey to discover herself (not as a mother, a daughter or a wife) she embarked on an adventure to become the first person to solo kayak the 400km length of the Clarence River, the largest river system on the east coast of Australia. Her two year journey to that start line required her to learn bush, survival, navigation and skills in hunting, trapping, foraging and using plants for medicinal purposes. She had never kayaked before beginning this journey. She is a mother of two beautiful boys, a Director for a co-working space called Blanc Space and the National Operations manager for James Baroud. She is a writer, poet, ambassador, passionate about the environment and making real & sustained change. You can follow Hayley's journey on socials via @hayleytalbot & www.hayleytalbot.com.…

Anoop is a scientist with the Centre for Climate Change Research at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology. In February he returned for his third expedition to Antarctica where he led a team of 40 scientists. His teams objective were to collect data to help improve the future predictions of climate change. We discuss what that job really entails and what it's like to lead a team in an environment which is socially isolating as well as physically and mentally stressful. He explains the changes he's seen to global warming, from a data perspective, over the 6 years he's been travelling to Antarctica. We also look at the small yet large steps an individual can make to reduce their carbon footprint. Based in Pune, India - Anoop shares how Covid-19 has impacted his life and the life of those in India at large. The Prime Minister announced a nation-wide lockdown with a four hour notice period, which required the entire population of 1.3 billion to be indoors. We talk about a human need to be returned to one's family as a powerful means for survival despite severe adversity. As well as the power of community to come together to support each other during crisis and need. Anoop has a yearning to make science accessible for all, which led him to create the 'Pune Science on Tap'. Dan is one of Australia's leading actors and television presenters, with a career spanning over 22 years. Strike Back, Neighbours, The Bill, Infini, Dancing with the Stars, Wild Boys and City Homicide are just some of the shows you would may have seen him on. He has travelled the globe for his craft, pushed the boundaries and been on the hunt for growth. He poignantly states: "I now view collaboration as king and must remain king. Where ego will isolate, spirit will collaborate." For someone whose lived out of suitcase since a 17 year old, he shares how Covid-19 has allowed him to be in the one spot, using this pause to be present. Lockdown has also been a gift of time to bring the "needle back to zero", immersing into a new life shift - as a first time father with his five month old son. We talk about mental focus at the cost at times of balance. There are many nuggets of wisdom for those pursuing career paths that are highly competitive or where the odds are stacked against you. He emphasis that successful actors and individuals are not ones that wait for work to come to them, that you need to use every opportunity to create and develop. This conversation discusses the evolution of his career and what it truly means to commit to a craft where the metrics are not defined and are also subjective. Dan is a weapon of an athlete!!! In my opinion he is an example of someone who makes the most of ALL available hours in a day, training for triathlons & IRONMAN at a high level and also working as an actor. Dan admits the pitfalls of trying to pursue both simultaneously (e.g. when he first moved to LA and was training like a pro athlete - resulting in a skinny physical frame, not ideal for the military/DEA agent roles he was auditioning for.) We speak about the value and challenge of method acting; preparing for his role in Strike Back and how confronting train for the role Jordan in the midst of conflict in the Middle East. We discuss his relationship with the veteran community in Australia and abroad, and the support they have given him through his role in Strike Back. Dan is intelligent, highly reflective and generous in how he shares his insights. Enjoy this epic chat!!…
