1 Amy Schumer & Brianne Howey on the Importance of Female Friendships, Navigating Hollywood's Double Standards, Sharing Their Birth Stories, and MORE 50:05
This week, in what might be the funniest episode yet, Molly and Emese are joined by co-stars Amy Schumer and Brianne Howey. They get candid about motherhood, career evolution, and their new film, Kinda Pregnant —which unexpectedly led to Amy’s latest health discovery. Amy opens up about how public criticism led her to uncover her Cushing syndrome diagnosis, what it’s like to navigate comedy and Hollywood as a mom, and the importance of sharing birth stories without shame. Brianne shares how becoming a mother has shifted her perspective on work, how Ginny & Georgia ’s Georgia Miller compares to real-life parenting, and the power of female friendships in the industry. We also go behind the scenes of their new Netflix film, Kinda Pregnant —how Molly first got the script, why Amy and Brianne were drawn to the project, and what it means for women today. Plus, they reflect on their early career struggles, the moment they knew they “made it,” and how motherhood has reshaped their ambitions. From career highs to personal challenges, this episode is raw, funny, and packed with insights. ×Send us a text GUESTS: ROBERT KNIGHT, columnist for the Washington Times JERRY NEWCOMBE, Executive Director of Providence Forum In perhaps the most important revelation in decades about the U.S. government, it has been uncovered that billions, even trillions, of dollars have been spent by federal agencies and departments on what can only be described as wasteful and immoral causes. Just a few examples: $373 million in DEI grants from the Department of Education $3+ million for “being LGBTQ in the Caribbean” through USAID $450,000 to promote the expansion of atheism in Nepal through the State Department There are scores more expenditures like these that the recently-created DOGE, Department of Government Efficiency, led by Elon Musk, is finding through its audits of the federal government. Even more disturbing than the sheer excess and wasteful spending—especially considering our nation has a crushing $36T of debt—is the fact that your tax dollars are being used by the godless within government to fund perverse causes and enrich fellow leftists at home and abroad. In other words, our once “Christian nation” is the greatest exporter in the world of what dishonors God. Two guests will join us this weekend on The Christian Worldview to discuss this staggering waste and abuse of taxpayer money. First, Robert Knight, columnist for the Washington Times , will provide insight on the extent of this scandal and then Jerry Newcombe, Executive Director of Providence Forum , will explain how our government has abandoned the founders’ intent and example, particularly with George Washington, our first president and the subject of a documentary we will discuss. Be sure to tune in for this important topic! -------------------------------------- To subscribe to Robert Knight’s columns, send him an email at RobertKnight4@gmail.com.…
Send us a text GUEST: NATASHA CRAIN , author, When Culture Hates You In speaking to His disciples, Jesus used strong language to describe the reaction the unbelieving world would have to His followers: “If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you” ( John 15:19 ). Not dislikes you or misunderstands you or is confused by you but “hates you”. Why does the world hate believers? Jesus answers that question: “ For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light lest his deeds be exposed ” ( John 3:20 ). In other words, the Light of Christ is in every true believer and a sanctified life convicts unbelievers of their sin and their alienation from God. Even though the political winds have changed recently in this country, the spiritual winds will always be in the face of Christians. So how can believers obey their call to be salt and light—a preservative to what honors God and a light to the way of salvation? How do we avoid passivity (i.e. removing ourselves from engagement in society) but rather faithfully be an ambassador for Christ? Our guest this weekend is Natasha Crain , the author of a new book and our new featured resource titled, When Culture Hates You: Persevering for the Common Good as Christians in a Hostile Public Square . She writes that the purpose of her book is “to give Christ followers the crucial understanding required to confidently advocate for righteousness in today’s increasingly dark and hostile culture.” After laying the theological foundation for engagement, she addresses five hot-button issues of our day that Christians must know how to respond to. Later in the program, we’ll hear part 2 of the interview with Pastor Jamie Bambrick, Editor-In-Chief of Clear Truth Media, on How Mis-Prioritized Love Has Contributed to the Decline of Western Civilization. ---------------------------------- NEW FEATURED RESOURCE for a donation of any amount! When Culture Hates You by Natasha Crain As cultural hostility toward Christianity intensifies, many Christians have grown more reluctant to advocate for biblical values in the public square. But our perseverance for the common good—a good defined by God alone—is more important than ever in a culture that embraces darkness. When Culture Hates You is a call for Christians to unashamedly pursue righteousness in society out of our love for others. 256 pgs, softcover [retail $18.99] This is a Worldview Partners “Featured Resource” so it will be automatically mailed.…

Send us a text GUEST: Jamie Bambrick, Editor-In-Chief, Clear Truth Media On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, President Trump, in a joint press conference at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, made a stunning statement: “The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip…we’ll own it.” Not only did he say the U.S. will takeover Gaza but that the Palestinians there would be relocated, the U.S. would clean up the destruction from the Israel-Hamas war that has turned Gaza into rubble, develop the area into a kind of Mediterranean Riviera, and bring peace and prosperity to the Middle East. This is truly the most audacious foreign policy plan by the U.S. in decades. We’re talking about an area in the historic nation of Israel, the one that God almighty promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob thousands of years ago, the one that is the epicenter of God’s own plans for the end times. Will the U.S. really “own” a portion of Israel? Or is this just a leveraging negotiating tactic on Trump’s part? We’ll discuss more in the opening segment this weekend. Then, Jamie Bambrick, a pastor from Ireland and editor-in-chief of Clear Truth Media will join us to discuss something called ordo amoris (ordered love) and how the misapplication of this Biblical concept has led to the decline of Western Civilization in the U.K. and the U.S. ----------------------- RELATED RESOURCES: Our guest Jamie Bambrick made a variation of the He Gets Us Campaign Super Bowl Ad in 2024. Send us a text GUESTS: Alex Newman, CEO, Liberty Sentinel Media Soeren Kern , Geopolitical Analyst and Managing Editor The Christian Worldview Journal Front and center at Donald Trump’s inauguration were eight “Tech Titans,” the CEOs of the largest and most influential technology companies in the world, including Apple, Google, Meta, TikTok, OpenAI, Uber, Tesla, and Amazon. Each is reported to have contributed $1M to Trump’s inaugural fund. Considering that several of them and/or their companies opposed or suppressed Trump and his supporters in the past, why were they there, sitting amongst Trump’s family members no less? And how should we interpret that all of them run tech companies, pushing new frontiers of artificial intelligence (AI), data collection, even transhumanism? Alex Newman, international journalist at Liberty Sentinel Media and author of Indoctrinating Our Children to Death , will join us this weekend on The Christian Worldview Radio Program to explain what a technocracy is and how the exploding growth of AI fits into it. Alex will also interpret why Trump’s talk of acquiring Greenland and Canada is a hint at regional governance. Later in the program, Soeren Kern , geopolitical analyst and managing editor of The Christian Worldview Journal will join us to continue our conversation from last week about how the Israeli-Hamas ceasefire and hostage release deal is the first step to restarting the Abraham Accords and the inevitable pressure on Israel to agree to a two-state solution. Send us a text Monday, January 20, 2025 was a big day in our country. It was the day that our nation made a political U-turn, from four years of financial, moral, and social decline foisted on us by Joe Biden and the Democratic Party to the start of the second term of Donald Trump and promises of American ascent and exceptionalism. January 20 also coincided this year with the federal holiday named after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the pastor and revered civil rights activist. Virgil Walker, Vice President of Ministry Relations at G3 Ministries , co-host of the Just Thinking Podcast , and co-author with Darrell Harrison of the brand new book, A Biblical Theology of Climate Change , joins us to discuss the ramifications of Trump’s inauguration and the beliefs and life of Martin Luther King. Send us a text GUEST: JOSH BUICE, Pastor of Pray’s Mill Baptist Church (GA) and President G3 Ministries Following the recent death of Jimmy Carter, the 39th president of the United States who served from 1977-1981, the headlines have been singing in unison: Jimmy Carter, a lifelong Baptist, left a legacy of faithfulness, compassion and justice (Baptist News): ‘A shining example’: Religious leaders praise the late former President Jimmy Carter (Religion News Services) Pope praises Jimmy Carter’s ‘deep Christian faith’ (US Conference of Catholic Bishops) Setting aside the widespread perception that Carter’s one-term presidency was feckless—stagnant economy, fuel shortages, unresolved hostage ordeal with Iran—the paradox with Carter is that he professed to be a born-again Christian despite the fact that he was a proponent of abortion and homosexual “marriage”. How can a professed follower of God advocate for things so contrary to the Word of God? And why is he so lauded when other professing born again Christians are loathed? Our guest this weekend is Josh Buice. He is the pastor of Pray’s Mill Baptist Church in Georgia and the founder and president of G3 Ministries . Josh will talk about Jimmy Carter and his faith along with other current issues in society and the church: Why Christians should seek the abolition of abortion and not be satisfied with incremental gains like heartbeat laws How Christians should think about pastors and the local church in light of the disqualification of preacher Steve Lawson What Christians should discern about the person and policies of Donald Trump, as he takes the oath of office on Mon, January 20. Send us a text GUEST: MATT MORRELL, Pastor, Fourth Baptist Church (Plymouth, MN) As we start the year, we don’t know what lies ahead, whether with world events, the economy, personal health, and many other things. Just consider the horrific wildfires causing destruction and death in Los Angeles and remember to pray for those impacted. The bottom line: Life is uncertain but storms are certain. Jesus concluded His most well-known sermon, the Sermon on the Mount, this way: “ Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall ” ( Mt. 7:24-27 ). The beginning of a new year provides a good opportunity for Christians to self-examine. Are you and I making choices to build the house of our lives on the foundation of Christ and His Word? This weekend Matt Morrell, pastor of Fourth Baptist Church and president of Central Seminary in Plymouth, MN, will join us to discuss two of his recent sermons about our foundation in life and personal sanctification. Matt is also one of the featured teachers at The Overcomer Course for Young Adults this coming June 20-21 . Later in the program, Andrew DeBartolo, host of Liberty Coalition in Canada , will join us to discuss the resignation of prime minister Justin Trudeau. Later in the program, we’ll hear from Andrew DeBartolo of Liberty Coalition Canada about the resignation of prime ministry Justin Trudeau.…

Send us a text GUEST: STEVE MILLER, author, One Day Nearer Last week in part one on our two-part series on Biblical prophecy , Steve Miller joined us to discuss his 365-day devotional book One Day Nearer: Daily Devotions in Anticipation of Jesus’ Glorious Return. He pointed out that the motivation to understand Biblical prophecy goes beyond knowing the what and when about the future but that it should impel believers to a deeper love for God and His awesome plan and victory when His Son returns in glory to judge and reign. Steve bolstered our faith by pointing to several Old Testament prophecies that were fulfilled in the New Testament, such as Christ being born of a virgin woman in the town of Bethlehem. He also explained the three main end times views: premillennialism, amillennialism, and post-millennialism. This weekend in part two, Steve will answer some of the intriguing questions that believers have pondered over the years: When does the prophesied war of Gog and Magog take place and who is involved (i.e. Ezekiel 38-39)? Will the Jewish Temple be rebuilt next to the current Islamic mosque in Jerusalem? Who is “Babylon the Great” in Revelation 17 and where does America fit in to end times prophecy? And, what is the believer’s call at this time? Send us a text GUEST: STEVE MILLER, author, One Day Nearer I recently watched a program on Fox News Channel that featured some of the sharpest conservative minds, including Thomas Sowell, Victor Davis Hanson, and Mark Levin. They were discussing the crumbling state of affairs in America and abroad with regard to overwhelming illegal immigration across our border, a takeover of the government school system by a Marxist worldview, crushing economic policies and inflation, political corruption, widespread anti-Israel sentiment, and several more. They detailed the problems accurately but I was left wondering what these intelligent men believe is going to happen in the future. Do they think with a different president that we’ll pull out of this death spiral? Do they think that America is too big to fail and that the pendulum will swing back the conservative way at some point? Do they know and believe what God has prophesied in the Bible about the end times? Only the born again Christian who is indwelled by the Holy Spirit and accurately interprets Scripture is able to understand what is coming. While God has chosen to not reveal every detail and precise timing of the future, He has put enough in Scripture that we should know what’s coming, most especially, the return of Jesus Christ to defeat His enemies and reign. With each passing sunset, we are “one day nearer” to the return of Christ. And that is the best news! Why would the believer want to struggle on in this world—with sin, conflict, persecution, disease, and death—when we can live for eternity in perfection in the presence of Christ? Steve Miller is our guest this weekend and next. He has studied Biblical prophecy for decades and is the author of Foreshadows: 12 Megaclues Jesus’ Return is Nearer than Ever and the 365-day devotional book that we will be discussing today, One Day Nearer: Daily Devotions in Anticipation of Jesus’ Glorious Return . One Day Nearer is our new featured resource available for a donation of any amount. This week he will explain the purposes of Bible prophecy, the three major views (i.e. premillennialism, amillennialism, and post-millennialism), and whether the idea of a “rapture” of church-age believers is a recent invention.…
Send us a text This weekend’s program was produced in 2022 and was prepared to focus our attention on the Christ of Christmas. In the left column are resources and ideas for you to use personally with your own families. The Christian Worldview wishes all of you a memorable and meaningful Christmas. To God be all Glory! Christmas is upon us. While it’s easy to get distracted by all that competes for our attention—current events and politics, work and school, sports and recreation, travel and material things, even family and church—there is really only one most important issue and that is the person of Jesus Christ and what He has done for mankind. Jesus said, “ He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him ” ( John 3:36 ). That couldn’t be more clear. Where you spend eternity hinges on whether you place your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Christmas is the time when Christians remember and celebrate God sending His Son into our world, born of a virgin woman, mighty and holy in word and deed, and loving and sacrificial in offering His perfect life to satisfy God’s wrath and justice for our sins. Today will be a program to think about not Christmas generally, but the Christ of Christmas specifically. We will read God’s word, listen to some music, even do a Christmas quiz, all to appreciate and worship the God/Man, the Lord Jesus Christ. Send us a text GUESTS: ABRAHAM HAMILTON, General Counsel and Public Policy Analyst, American Family Association SOEREN KERN, Managing Editor, The Christian Worldview Journal Theoretical physicist Albert Einstein is quoted as saying, “The earth is the insane asylum of the universe.” A more Biblical assertion would be: “The earth is the sin asylum of the universe.” For that is the common denominator between two seemingly unrelated issues that we will discuss this weekend on The Christian Worldview. The first is a recent case before the United States Supreme Court as to whether the state of Tennessee is within Constitutional rights to ban what is euphemistically referred to as “gender affirming care” for children. That “health care” includes administering powerful drugs and hormones to minors that alter sexual development and irreversible surgeries to remove reproductive body parts. Abraham Hamilton, General Counsel and Public Policy Analyst for American Family Association and the host of The Hamilton Corner radio program will join us to discuss that. While we in America debate the illogical and impossibility of changing one’s sex, people in Syria are concerned about the basics of life after an Islamist militant group just ousted long-time dictator Bashar al-Assad.What does this mean for the broader Middle East and specifically for neighboring Israel? Soeren Kern, geopolitical analyst and managing editor of The Christian Worldview Journal will join us in the second half of the program. ------------------------------- The Christian Worldview Journal is our NEW monthly print publication. Send us a text Blood is a recurring theme in Scripture. In Genesis 4, God confronted Cain after he had murdered his brother Abel, saying: The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground ( Gen. 4:10 ). The sacrificial system God established for the Jews to temporarily cover their sin involved countless animals being slaughtered and their blood applied to the altar and mercy seat. Ephesians 1:7 says, In Him we have redemption through His blood, the fogginess of our trespasses. Even in a physical sense the Bible says, For the life of the flesh is in the blood ( Leviticus 17:11 ). Clearly, God created and designed blood to be highly important physically and spiritually. This weekend on The Christian Worldview , we will discuss my recent problem with blood flow in my heart. We will also hear from the author of a children’s book titled 100% Jesus, that does a really good job explaining the gospel and how the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin ( 1 John 1:7 ). We think the book will be a helpful tool in your Bible reading time with your children, along with daily conversations and going to church, that will help young ones understand and believe in Christ. And finally in the third segment, we’ll discuss the significance of President Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter along with previewing first issue The Christian Worldview Journal coming to your mailbox soon. -------------------------- 100% Jesus by Jason Hammerberg - available for a donation of any amount to The Christian Worldview…

Send us a text ** This is a rebroadcast of our 11/27/21 program. GUEST: DR. JERRY NEWCOMBE, producer, The Pilgrims documentary A small group of biblical Christians known as the the Pilgrims are widely considered to be “the founders of America”. Numbering only about 400-500 souls, they had fled religious persecution in England to settle in Holland. But after ten years there, they decided on another move across the Atlantic Ocean to an unknown land that would become the United States. About 50 Pilgrims were on the first vessel called The Mayflower, arriving in modern-day Cape Cod in Massachusetts in November 1620. One year later in November 1621, after a brutal winter in which many of them died, they celebrated a bountiful harvest with local Indians who had helped them in what has become known as the first Thanksgiving. The Pilgrims and their biblical beliefs which led directly to the principles of the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution 150 years have been mostly forgotten by the majority of our population. “Separation of church and state” is a sacrament of mainstream society today…but it wasn’t to the Pilgrims. They said they came to America “for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith.” Dr. Jerry Newcombe, producer of the documentary film, The Pilgrims , joins us this Thanksgiving weekend on The Christian Worldview to discuss the Pilgrims’ story and what they believed and lived by. For in them we have an example for how we can live in our pilgrimage in a contrary world. -------------------------- Thanksgiving Special: THE PILGRIMS DVD Available for a limited time for a donation of any amount. Send us a text GUEST: MEGAN BASHAM, author, Shepherds for Sale Jesus warned, “ Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits .” ( Matthew 7:15-16 ). False teachers don’t wear red suits and carry pitchforks. That would be too obvious. Far more effective for undermining the church, diverting believers, and hiding the gospel from unbelievers is for false teachers to hold respected positions at churches and Christian organizations and to be captivating speakers and writers. What’s really effective is when they gain popularity while appearing to hold orthodox positions only to shift over time away from orthodoxy, leading their followers away. False teachers are nothing new. The Old Testament recounts the false prophets who led Israel into compromise and sin. The New Testament describes the constant battles of Christ and the apostles to “ Retain the standard of sound words which you have heard from me, in the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. Guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you .” ( 2 Tim. 1:13 ). From the very beginning, Satan relentlessly attacks the truth of God’s Word and he uses men and women to do it. Men and women who likely would never consider themselves to be false teachers but are nonetheless. “ You will know them by their fruits ”, meaning misinterpreting Scripture and practicing sin. Our guest this weekend is Christian reporter, Megan Basham. She is the author of a well-researched, well-documented, and illuminating new book, Shepherds for Sale—How Evangelical Leaders Traded the Truth for a Leftist Agenda . She describes how those on the political left are insidiously working to draw Evangelicals, the last remaining bulwark standing in the way of their socialist, Marxist vision, over to the Democrat side by giving large sums of money and reframing issues like climate change, race, immigration, pro-life, and homosexuality in language that appeals to Christians. None other than John MacArthur has written about Megan’s book, Shepherds for Sale : “This may just be the single most important book on modern evangelicalism in recent years.” The question is: Will Evangelicals listen and make amends? Because the courage and Biblical model to exercise discernment, contend for sound doctrine, and name the names of those leading Christians astray has been sinfully lacking and shamed out of Christians to avoid being pegged as “divisive” and “unkind”. We have the book in our online store and we highly encourage you to get informed and give a copy to your own shepherd pastor.…
