It's a new era of English test cricket and the West Indies v England in the 1st test gave us great insight into how this English team may fair over the next two years Ashes cycle.
3 centuries from the top 6 J Root, J Bairstow and Z Crawley all cashed in on a pretty docile wicket. England's bowling was one paced with Woakes and Overton looking particularly ineffective.
Kudos to Jack Leach who bowled superbly in what may be an era or no rest and rotation and an emphasis on backing players.
We also take time to remember Shane Warne and the great cricketer and larger than life personality he was as well as touching base on Pakistan v Australia and India v Sri Lanka.
